Description
No Solicitation is currently available. This source sought notice is for planning purposes only for a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC). All information contained herein is preliminary, and subject to changes and/or cancellation at the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors shall provide responses to this notice voluntarily, and at no cost to the Government. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. Based upon information received in response to this Sources Sought Notice, the Government shall make a determination on a procurement strategy, which shall include the type of small business set-aside, if appropriate. The eventual procurement strategy and set-aside, if appropriate, is solely within the discretion of the Government.� The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors, and the small business size standard is $16.5M. The total contract value is anticipated between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00 separated into task orders valued at no more than $5,000,000. Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See https://www.sam.gov/SAM/pages/public/index.jsf ). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM.� Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses shall have their ownership and control verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and be listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://vetbiz.va.gov/vip/. Description of Services Project 612A4-22-001, Replace Elevators Throughout VA Northern California Healthcare System (VANCHS). This project is to replace elevators throughout Veteran Affairs Northern California Healthcare System (VANCHS) with reliable, safe, and New Modernized Elevator Systems. The project will be located at VANCHS campuses � Mare Island, Martinez, Mather, and McClellan. There exists a total of twenty-two (22) elevators scoped for replacements prioritized into five (5) task orders. The awarded contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, contractor quality control (CQC), supervision, project management, administrative support, and construction services and expertise to construct/install the new elevator systems. Sources Sought Information The Government requests that interested parties review the Description of Services and provide the following capability information to both the Contract Specialist, Carla Groves, at carla.groves@va.gov, and to the Contracting Office, Denise Groves, at denise.groves@va.gov by 2:00 PM PT on March 18, 2022: NOTE:� Because the solicitation strategy (to include determination of small business set-aside, if any) is dependent upon responses to this sources sought notice, interested parties are encouraged to provide complete and accurate responses to all items, a through f. a. Business Size (Large/Small) b. Business Socio-Economic Status (SDVOSB, WOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, etc.) c. DUNS number and SAM UEI d. Ability and experience in elevator installation and/or elevator renovation projects within the past five (5) years. Include general information, a brief description of the work, and number of elevators installed for each project. e. Bonding Capability; per contract and aggregate.� Provide amount of aggregate bonding currently available (i.e. amount not committed). f. Anticipated Teaming Arrangements (if any). The Government requests that interested party submissions in response to this source sought notice be no more than 10 single-sided, type-written pages using Times New Roman 12-point font or larger.
