The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 325412 (In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing). Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this sources sought notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs, (NCO 08), Miami VA Healthcare System has a need for Reagent and consumables for the operation of the Diasorin Liaison XL.) We are seeking authorized Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB s), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB s), Small Business (SB s) or Large Business (LB s) manufacturers/distributors that can provide reagents, controls, consumables and service for Quantiferon-TB Gold Plus, Rubella IgG and Treponema pallidum. Salient characteristics are listed below. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought and no contract will be directly awarded on the basis of this sources sought. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought shall be voluntary. To respond to this sources sought notice, please complete the attached form titled Response Form to Sources Sought Notice. Attachment B Salient Characteristics Miami VA Healthcare System The Liaison XL is a fully automated chemiluminescence analyzer, performing complete sample processing (sample pre-dilutions, sample and reagent dispensing, incubation, wash process) to improve efficiency in the immunoassay testing. This contract is looking for the vendor (Diasorin) to provide reagents, controls, consumables and service for Quantiferon-TB Gold Plus, Rubella IgG and Treponema pallidum as described below: Service: included as part of the instrument first year warranty: Service includes: Unlimited onsite visits for repair service from Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. All costs for repair service and service parts. Preventative Maintenance in accordance with manufacturer s recommendations. Phone support twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.
