- The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) on behalf of the Fleet Readiness Center East hereby gives notice of their intent to Exercise 12 month Option, 7 April 2022 to 6 April 2023 on the previously awarded Task Order N6852021F0022, under base contract N6852021D0002 to LTM Inc., 103 Belltown Rd Bldg 2, Havelock, NC 28532 (Cage Code: 06WH5).� The Fleet Readiness Center East utilizes logistics support services for the AV-8 program. �Services include collecting, developing, analyzing, and reporting logistics support data including: Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans; Phased Support Plans (PSP); review/update of AV-8 maintenance plans; prepare LRCR; maintain and update existing AV-8 databases for the AV-8B and F402 engine, depot level mods, and Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE), readiness based sparing for the AV-8/F402 aircraft and engine series, maintain existing fleet life database; analyze and document Quality Deficiency Reports (QDR) and Engineering Investigations (EI); prepare revisions or additions to the AV-8B consolidated avionics master equipment list (camel) as pertains to current T/AV-8B avionics installations; and provide support for MAG-13 and MAG-14 for research, analysis and studies in support of the Fleet Support Team (FST), FRC-EAST and the MAGS. Per the FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A), For DOD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, Services may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of follow on contracts for the continued provision of highly specialized services when It is likely that award to any other source would result in- (A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition; or (B) Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency�s requirements (See 10.U.S.C.2304(d)(1)(B)). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
