Description

The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) order under Lockheed Martin Corporate Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-19-G-0029 for the procurement of�Non-recurring Engineering (NRE) for the development of software corrective actions, test data analysis, software development, integration testing, flight test support and deliver an interim software/system configuration release for the MH-60R radar performance improvements. Period of performance is anticipated from contract award through Calendar year 2024. This action was awarded on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (LM RMS) under the authority permitting other than full and open competition, title 1- U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other type of Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� LM RMS is the sole designer, manufacturer, developer, and system integrator for the MH-60R aircraft and is the only known source with the requisite knowledge, experience, facilities, and technical data required for the radar performance improvements efforts.
