36C25022Q0370� SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Edwards Hemosphere Monitor The Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd Cleveland, OH 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.1061(b)(1)-Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. �The NAICS code is 334510 with a small business size standard of 1250. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Edwards Lifesciences LLC One Edwards Way Irvine, CA 92614. The Anesthesia department would like to purchase a Edwards Lifesciences Hemosphere monitor. These monitors are primarily used for larger surgical cases (Vascular, Cardiac, some Ortho). This is in addition to the 5 existing Edwards Lifesciences Hemosphere monitors located in the ORs at the Wade park campus of the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System. Monitors need to connect to a transducer, which connects to our Philips monitoring system.� Monitor system shall be: HEMOSPHERE ADVANCED MONITORING SYSTEM � SMART RECOVERY WITH CLEARSIGHT, PRESSURE CABLE FOR ACUMEN IQ / FLOTRAC, HPI, AND ACUMEN ANALYTICS Kit Contains: HEM1, HEMBAT10, HEMCSM10, PC2K, EVHRS, 2 X HEMPSC100, HEMTOM10, HEMDPT1000, 194371001, Acumen Analytics� Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday March 4, 2022 at 12pm EST. �Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. �All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. �A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �No solicitation is available at this time.
