AGENCY / OFFICE: 31ST CONTRACTING SQUADRON LOCATION: AVIANO AIR BASE, ITALY DESCRIPTION:� 2nd Generation Wireless Local Area Network (2GWLAN)�Equipment Purchase & Installation The U.S. Government intends to solicit for the quotes for performance of services under a prospective firm-fixed price contract for the Engineering, Furnishing, Installation, and Testing (EFI&T) of approved wireless equipment in separated locations on Aviano Air Base, Italy. The subject service shall be acquired using FAR Part 12 procedures for the Acquisition of Commercial Items. FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall govern this competitive acquisition. The Contractor shall furnish all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that EFI&T is performed in a professional manner. The general requirements of the service are illustrated in the three attached DRAFT Statement of Objectives (SOO) for the various projects, which interested Companies are encouraged to read to familiarize with the various requirements of the service, ask questions or give suggestions. Exchanges with interested parties are highly encouraged in order to improve the understanding of the Government requirements and industry capabilities. In order to be deemed responsive, interested companies shall conform to the general and specific quote preparation instructions which are bound to include BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO the document the evidence of the following: Acknowledge of compliance with all solicitation terms and conditions, Completion of representation and certifications, Authorization to operate and do business in Italy, Company�s active registration on the System for Award Management (SAM), to ensure services are performed in accordance with attached three DRAFT SOO and commonly accepted commercial practices and pertinent relevant Prior Experience. Performance of the service will come into effect tentatively May/June 2022. Conferences/site visits might be announced at a later date. The Solicitation will be posted via beta.SAM.gov tentatively on April/May 2022. Questions must include reference to the SOO and the particular building number(s), which are prescribed in their respective SOO.
