- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) may have an upcoming requirement for FAA mail sorting and tracking system at multiple locations (see attached document for detailed description). This is a FAA wide requirement.� This requirement will be Brand Name Mandatory - Pitney Bowes equipment. Attachment 1 entitled, ""FAA Mail Tracking Summary Requirement"" is included for informational purposes only to outline the broad scope of the known requirement. This market survey is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of capabilities from interested parties. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the requirement among 8(a) small business concerns. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes anticipated for this effort is 333318 � Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. In order to make this determination, the FAA requires the following information from interested vendors: PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO PAGE LIMITATION, HOWEVER SUBMISSIONS SHOULD PROVIDE RELEVANT CONCISE INFORMATION ONLY. Capability Statement - This document should identify: 1. Your company's capability to provide supplies and services to the agency as described by Attachment 2. Any relevant current or previous experience that includes not more than three contacts for the same or similar services completed within the last five years or still ongoing. Additional Submissions- 1. Completed SBA certification letters (if applicable) 2. Comments concerning the Market Survey are welcome and optional. The FAA will consider all comments received. All submissions in response to this market survey must be received by 5:00 pm CT on 3/22/2022. Send response via email to Richard.Palsgrove@faa.gov.
