USCGC HEALY (WAGB 20) IS SOLICITING FOR FIREFIGHTING AND DAMAGE CONTROL TRAINING. REQUESTING QUOTES FOR 2 SESSIONS DETAILED BELOW. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: BEGIN 01APR22-15JUN22 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: WITHIN 50 MILE DRIVE OF 1519 ALASKAN WAY SOUTH, SEATTLE, WA 98134 SESSON 1: BASIC FIREFIGHTING TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: -8 hours of instruction in live firefighting. Basic fire science lecture, Combatting live propane fueled fire in a smoke filled environment with portable extinguishers and firefighting hoses, Firefighting ensemble/turnout gear use and wear, Self-contained breathing apparatus operation and use, Hose handling, CO2 extinguisher use, Search and rescue drill in a smoke filled environment, Combat a class �C� fire with extinguisher, Combat a class �B� fire with hose, Combat a flight deck fire with hose SESSION 2: ADVANCED FIREFIGHTING TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: -8 hours of instruction in live firefighting. Basic fire science lecture, Combatting live propane fueled fire in a smoke filled environment with portable extinguishers and firefighting hoses, Firefighting ensemble/turnout gear use and wear, Self-contained breathing apparatus operation and use, Hose handling, CO2 extinguisher use, Search and rescue drill in a smoke filled environment, Combat a class �C� fire with extinguisher, Combat a class �B� fire with hose, Combat a flight deck fire with hose -8 hours of instruction in basic damage control with wet props.�Basic DC lecture,�Pipe patching, plugging and shoring training on wet systems,�Fitting repair (flange, camlock, etc.),�P-100 operation and pumping in live well,�Eductor rigging and pumping in a live well, Multicasualty repairs, including locker communication, investigation and tool selection -8 hours of instruction combining the concepts learned in basic FF and DC. Focus on investigation, locker communications and combatting complex casualties.�Combat multiple live fire scenarios.�Combat multiple wet damage scenarios.�Combat live fire and wet damage scenarios simultaneously.�Desmoking/gas free engineering training in a smoke filled environment Utilize full scope of locker to include plotter, investigators, scene leader, hose teams, boundary teams, communicators and isolators. Utilize fixed suppression systems
