Description
(11) A. Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. B. Salient Characteristics �The Government requires one (1) diffractive optical element with the following minimum requirements: The optical element shall be fused silica and round The silica plate shall be 1 mm thick and one hundred (100) mm in diameter The engraved aperture (diffractive element) shall be seventy (70) mm in diameter The optical element shall have eight (8) engraved phase levels The optical element shall have a full angle divergence of 12.5 milliradians The optical element shall be off-axis The optical element shall create a beam shape that is round, top-hat The optical element shall have a laser damage threshold > seven (7) joules (J) per squared centimeter (cm2) @ 1064 nanometers (nm) @ 10 nanosecond (ns) pulse width� � The spot diameter shall be 1 mm with a focal length lens of eighty (80) mm Transmission efficiency shall be >80% with anti-reflection coating The anti-reflection coating on each facet shall have a reflectivity of less than 0.5% per facet @ 1064 nm @ 0 degrees angle of incidence C.
