Description

Notice of Intent Brand Name Items - USACE Kansas City District Command Suite Modification in Bolling Federal Building, Missouri Description This Notice is being published in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is DFARS 206.302-1(c)(2), ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.""� United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District intends to include brand name or equal descriptions in its solicitation numbered W912DQ22R4010. This project requires supplies with installation to renovate the existing USACE Kansas City District Command Suite in Building. This renovation includes the purchase of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) and installation, installation drawings, installation instructions, field measuring, shipping and delivery coordination, receiving, inspection, submitting and processing freight and warranty claims, and moving existing furniture to disposition location.�See attached. Brand name or equal furniture�and interior finishes�are identified for clarification of color and salient features. Contractors can propose alternate materials so long as the intent of the colors and salient features are met. This project is going to be solicited to an 8a Sole Source and will be a Request for Proposal (RFP).� � All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 12:00 PM Central Time on March 15, 2022 to francis.s.frenette@usace.army.mil and christina.j.lawson@usace.army.mil. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
