- N0016422SNB50 - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/SOURCES SOUGHT � PROCESSOR - PSC 1240 - NAICS 333314 Issued Date: 14 MAR 2022 - Closing Date: 25 MAR 2022 MARKET SURVEY - SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: The Government is issuing this RFl/sources sought announcement as part of market survey for the availability of obsolesce 166 MHz Lower-Power Intel Pentium Processors P/N GC80503CS166EXT, a component Mark 48 Modification 4 (a.k.a Toplite 2) Electro-Optic Sight (EOS), which is the sighting system of the Mark 38 Gun Weapon System (GWS). Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division located at Naval Support Activity, Crane, IN intends to award on a brand name basis for the Intel processors.� This effort will be conducted on a Brand Name basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition includes the following: a lack of sufficient technical data, duplicative cost to the Government that Government expects will be non-recoverable through use of competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. This effort is issued to help determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government requirement and to determine the method of acquisition.� No award will be made because of this notice.� The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurrence by the respondents to this notice.� This notice is strictly for research and information purposes only. The Government is seeking information from companies able to provide the obsolete 166 MHz Lower-Power Intel Pentium Processors P/N GC80503CS166EXT Extended Temperature Pentium Processor T.CASE: -40C TO 115C, 352-PIN BALL HL-PBGA Package. The respondents must submit clear and convincing evidence that their product is equivalent or superior to the brand name specified in this notice.� The response shall include the unit price, list price, shipping and handling costs, delivery days after contract award, delivery terms, prompt payment discount terms, F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), product or catalog number(s); product descriptions; as well as a comprehensive counterfeit protocol. This submission may be in the form of product literature, white paper, and/or supplemental technical documentation that define the item. Responses from Small and Small Disadvantaged Business firms are highly encouraged. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business, a socially and economically disadvantaged business, 8(a) firms, historically black colleges or universities, and minority institutions. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement.
