Description

The 99th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract to Cardinal Health 414, LLC located at 7000 Cardinal PL, Dublin, OH 43017 �under the authority �of FAR 6.302-1Only One Responsible Source And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The 99MDG Mike O� Callagham Military Medical Center requires annual services to be provided to support the Nuclear Medicine department in maintaining their radioactive material (RAM) permit and patient radiopharmaceutical doses. Quality assurance testing and surveys are required on an annual, quarterly, and weekly basis which encompasses: Dose Calibrator (Geometry), (Accuracy), and (Linearity) Sealed Sources; Leak Test and Sealed Source Inventory Geiger-Mueller Counters calibration and check sources; and 24/7 patient radiopharmaceutical doses to support after hours and weekend nuclear medicine patient operations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.� Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the required services without invalidating the existing warranty. Capability statements shall not exceed 5 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 10-point.� All capability statements received by the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.� A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source purchase order. The following is a statement of the contractor�s unique qualifications and why the nature of this acquisition requires the use of the authority cited above: Cardinal Health is the only company that provides after hours and immediate care needed for the radiopharmaceutical doses that Nellis uses for its patients. Responses are due by 2:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time, 21 March 2022.
