Description

03/14/2022: Updated questions and answers dated 03/14/2022. 03/10/2022: (1) Updated solicitation doucment (""N32253-22-Q-0036.1"") to reflect (a) changed due date to 03/18/2022 at 3:00 p.m. HST and (b) changed period of performance dates; and (2) updated Questions and Answers as of 03/10/2022R1. 03/10/2022 Update: Added Questions and Answers dated 03/10/2022. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) requests for quote (RFQ) N32253-22-Q-0036 with the intent to award a Firm Fixed-Price contract to dismantle/demolish and completely remove 2 each wooden platforms and 1 each M130 Vent platform, as stated in the solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238910 for Site Preparation Contractors. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $16,500,000. The Product Service Code is P500, Salvage � Demolition of Structures/Facilities (Other than Buildings). Please note the following:� All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) by the award date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04, DFARS 12/30/2021, and NMCARS 18-21. Please submit a technical proposal (not to exceed 3 pages) that clearly demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of, and approach to, accomplishing each paragraph listed in the PWS and solicitation requirements. The proposal must contain sufficient details (to include the quantity, what can and cannot be provided, and the method) so that it may be evaluated in accordance with the PWS and comply with the period of performance set forth in the solicitation. Please submit a Safety Plan in accordance with paragraph 3.1.1 of the PWS and Environmental Protection Plan in accordance with paragraph 3.1.2 of the PWS. All quotation submissions need to include completion of FAR 52.204-24, 52.204-26 and 52.212-3. Contract award will be in accordance to 52.212-2 as stated in the solicitation. No telephonic responses will be accepted. Quotes are due no later than Friday, 03/18/2022 at 3:00 p.m. HST. Quotes must be sent via email to both the primary and secondary points of contact.
