- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,� as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-2110601 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2022-04 January 30, 2022.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $20.5 million. The requirement is being competed full and open, without a small business set-aside restriction.� The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for: A One Year Service Agreement for� 1) AT2 WHOLE SLIDE SCANNER, WITH SERIAL NO. 7199� 2) E-Slide HUB Manager, for Serial No. 7199 � � These services will include the following: ��� �SILVER SERVICE PACKAGE-Includes all parts, labor, and travel� ��� �Emergency repair service as required during the hours of 08:00am - 05:00pm, Monday through Friday ��� �P.O.P 03/30/2022 � 03/29/2023 ��� �1 PM visit per agreement year. ��� �OEM replacement parts are included and must be 100% certified. ��� �Inspections will include Calibrations.� ��� �Submit a full inspection report of findings, after inspecting the Leica/Aperio Biosystems AT2 Slide Scanner.� ��� �A full inspection report, to include: Calibrations settings Hardware and software replacement and repair� ��� �Submit a full inspection report of findings, after inspecting the Leica/Aperio Biosystems AT2 Slide Scanner. ��� �Must provide Priority On-Site Service. Due to the nature of this equipment, un-necessary downtime results in critical research time lost. �Priority Service is hereby defined as priority responses from a direct contract.
