FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT to perform Pavement Preservation at multiple sites within Gulf Islands National Seashore GULF ISLANDS NATIONAL SEAHORE, Fort Barrancas/Advance Redoubt Areas on board Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola in NW Florida SCOPE: The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision to complete Work under proposed Firm-Fixed Price construction contract: LI 10: Fort Barrancas Entrance Trail/Parking Area (~ 21,942 SF) Clean and seal existing cracks BEFORE Asphalt Surface Sealer Application Apply Thermoplastic Line Striping and Pavement Markings LI 20: Advanced Redoubt Road and Parking Area (~ 2100 SF) Clean and prep pavement surface Cut, remove and repair depression (~20' x 20') Mill transition at Taylor Road entrance Tack coat application 2"" overlay 12.5 asphalt mix Shoulder support Remove old Parking Blocks and dispose offsite Replace new Parking Blocks at handicap parking space(s) Apply Thermoplastic Line Striping and Pavement Markings MAGNITUDE: A firm fixed price construction contract with an estimated price range between $100,000 and $250,000. BASIS OF AWARD: Comparative evaluation of quotation or offer using price and past performance (relevant and recent past 5 years.
