- Description
- This is a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract to perform required repairs and preservation in support of the Admiral's Barge (40PE8501), located at U.S. Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Services required include Hull/Mechanical Repairs, Electrical Repairs, and Preservation in support of the Admiral's Barge. Vendor shall provide all labor, services, equipment, and materials required in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). Work shall be accomplished at the Contractor's waterfront facility. Government will deliver and pick up the craft via waterways (only) to and from the Contractor�s facility. The contractor is responsible for the use of the latest revision of all references, specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items. Please see the SOW for detailed information regarding the requirements of this contract and required references.� Description: 40 Foot Personnel Craft, Boat Identification Number: 40PE8501, Manufacturer/Model: UNIFLITE 42ft Model.� The Request for Quotation (RFQ) N5523622Q0072 is issued as full and open competition (unrestricted). The subject solicitation is being processed using FAR Part 13. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are�in�those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04, effective 30 January 2022, and DFARS Publication Notice 20220228. All vendors must be registered at http://www.sam.gov/. Synopsis is not required in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(13). The successful quoter will be required to have a Southwest Regional�Maintenance Center approved Quality System (IAW NAVSEA Standard Item 009-004), approved and in place at time of contract award. Interested quoters must adhere to this solicitation and provide their quote as described in the Request for Quote (RFQ); quoters must submit a quote completing Sections A through K of this solicitation and acknowledge and sign all amendments (if applicable). When evaluating quotes, the Government will take into consideration how well the quoter followed the RFQ instructions. It is the quoter�s responsibility to ensure their quote is in compliance with the RFQ instructions. Your quote shall conform to the established Evaluation Criteria as set forth in Section M - Evaluation Factors for Award of the attached SF18. The Offeror Instructions and Evaluation Factors of this solicitation are detailed on pages 55-58 of the attached RFQ (SF-18). The RFQ (SF-18) and attachments are attached.
