- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation � Acquisition� Division intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 and FAR PARt 36 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for the Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Streambank Stabilization for the Eddie Ware Bridge site in Payne County, OK. This project consists of installing riprap and bedding to stabilize the southeast bridge abutment, �riprap and bedding channel liner to stabilize the southwest bridge abutment and bar ditch in Payne County, OK. The solicitation will be a Total Small Business set-aside.� Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. The full solicitation package including construction drawings, specifications, and wage rates will be posted and available from this website on or around April 1, 2022. � A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.� A Payment Bond (SF-25A), Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC), or a Tripartite Escrow Agreement in the amount of 100% of the project cost will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 6 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.� The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.� The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $39.5M. Interested parties are encouraged to inspect the site where the work will be performed. A site visit will be conducted on April 4, 2022 at 10:00CT.� Participants should plan to meet on site - Intersection of W 146th Street/E0735 RD and Walnut Creek, 0.5 miles east of Goodnight, Oklahoma.
