Description

This is a one-time FMS procurement of the Radar Transponder in support of the C-130 and UH-1N Aircrafts. The proposed contract actions will be contracted sole source to�Raytheon, CAGE: 06845, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1). NSN: 5841-01-656-1177, P/N: 40739100-530, NOUN: Radar Transponder. ITEM�FUNCTION: combined Mk XII/Mode S/Mode 5 capability transponder enables aircraft to�operate seamlessly throughout international, civil, and military airspace, meeting all� Identification Friend and Foe and ATC requirements. ITEM MATERIAL: Aluminum. ITEM�DESCRIPTION: LENGTH: 8.6250 in; WIDTH: 5.420 in; HEIGHT: 5.420 in; WEIGHT: 10.0 lbs. QTY: 15 Each DESTINATIONS: DIS002; DIS004 IUID Checklist is applicable to this requirement DELIVERY: 90 Days ARO A written RFQ will be issued. The anticipated award date is: 30 June 2022 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 6.302.�Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requitement�or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (thirty days if award is�issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis/solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the�Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this�notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will�normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a�competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation�which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is anticipating using the policies contained in FAR Part 15, Contract by Negotiations, in its s olicitation for the described�supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting�officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement within 15�days of this notice.
