- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract to International Business Machines, Corporation (IBM), 1 North Castle Dr, Armonk, NY 10504.� This requirement is for Medical Library Software Subscription in support of Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC). The statutory authority permitting acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items.�� IBM� Corporation is the only source capable of satisfying the BAMC The Pediatric and Neonatal Patient Care, Services.� The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 518210, Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services, Business Size Standard: $35M.� Points of contact (POCs) are Mr. Wayne Thompson, Contract Specialist, wayne.v.thompson3.civ@mail.mil and Mr. Marc Flores, Contracting Officer, marc.a.flores3.civ@mail.mil. This is a sole source notice of intent published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive quotes. Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement including costs by 12:00 p.m. CST, 25 March 2022 via email to geraldine.i.hernandez.civ@mail.mil. The government shall consider all timely responses received that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government.
