- Notice of Intent: The Coast Guard intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement (under FAR authority 6.302) to Adventure Hornblower/Inspiration Hornblower, 1380 Harbor Island Dr. San Diego, CA 92101 Background and Justification: The US Coast Guard Institute intends to rent a vessel large enough to conduct CBRNE Exercises. The US Coast Guard is in need of a surface vessel to support MSRT-W Workup training, insertion (HI&E/FI&E), and CBRNE Exercises.�Vessel will need to support 30-40 mbrs onboard, Simmunitions and access to various areas (Bridge, Eng. Rm, Common Spaces, Etc.) to support training. �Pier Side Asset(s) 1600-2200 (each day) to support CBRNE LMP�s: 19-20APR: Pier side LMP/CQC Vessel Training Underway Assets 6 hours to support FMP�s/Insertion): 23MAR: BAF 101 Tactics Training Vessel 24-25MAR: LMP Vessel w/insertion w/ODA Vessel 28-29MAR: CBRNE Shipboard CQC/Tactics/insertion Vessel 06-07APR: LMP/insertion/CQC Vessel Training 24-25APR: Readiness Exercise TRNG Vessel 27APR: FMP/insertion/CQC Vessel Training Services to be performed: See Attached Statement of Work Responses This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources who believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a capability statement that demonstrates clear and convincing evidence of capability, addressing the points identified in paragraph (2) above. If you believe you can provide the items or services requested,�all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency, to the Contracting Specialist, Jessica� Adkisson at��Jessica.p.adkisson@uscg.gov�referencing notice number 84-22-Q-34269-312�03/23/2022 8:30am PST and will be used for future purchases. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed. Information provided will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for the potential requirement and may lead to the development of a solicitation.
