Description
Synopsis:� The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation � Acquisition and Procurement Division intends to issue and Invitation for Bids (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding, on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) for the Emergency Watershed Protection Streambank Stabilization of Hominy Creek and 52nd West Avenue near the City of Skiatook in Osage County Oklahoma. This project consists of stabilizing installing riprap and bedding to stabilize the banks of Hominy Creek at North 52nd West Avenue.� This contract will consist of clearing and grubbing (debris removal), site preparation/toe excavation/bank sloping and installing riprap bedding and mobilization and Demobilization.� This effort is 4946 Ton of Riprap Installed, 624 Ton of Bedding Installed, 66 Cubic Yards of Crushed Rock Installed There will be a site visit on April 12 at 10:00 AM local time.� Details will be included in the solicitation. Upon contract award, the successful bidder shall be authorized to begin the mobilization and stockpiling of quarry materials. The period of performance for the construction, which is mandatory, will be 15 calendar days upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed which is anticipated to be issued in 16 May 2022 when conditions are suitable at the site to commence work. The solicitation will be 100% small business set aside.� Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. The full solicitation package including construction drawings, specifications, bid schedule, construction wage determination and information on site visit will be posted and available from this website on or about April 7, 2022. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Sealed Bidding procedures of FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. A bid guarantee, in the amount of 20% of the bid, is required to be submitted with each bid.�� Sureties should use SF-24 Bid Bond form. Performance (SF-25) and Payment (SF-25A) Bonds, in the amount of 100% will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the projects is between $250,000 and $500,000.� The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.� The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $39.5M.
