Description
Pre-Solicitation Announcement for Equipment Procurement and Sustainment (EPaS) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Rolling Admissions acquisitionin support of the Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) and Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) sites. FRCs are depot level maintenance centers that rework, repair, and overhaul various aircraft, engines, and components. To support depot level maintenance operations, various industrial plant equipment along with equipment sustainment efforts are needed to adequately support and meet various fleet aircraft schedules. The EPaS MAC was awarded to procure, replace, upgrade, repair and maintain industrial plant equipment used in support of the FRC's industrial operations, and deliver a full scope of innovative, cost-effective equipment solutions and capabilities to support COMFRC in their quest to increase productivity, resolve complex challenges, create opportunities for equipment consolidation, footprint reduction and common solutions across multiple locations. COMFRC anticipates conducting rolling admissions in accordance with Section H.4 of the awarded MAC contract to add additional vendors in 13 of the 14 functional areas of the EPaS MAC.The Government is anticipating that this effort will result in additional Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts being awarded under this existing MAC.The preference will be given to making multiple awards within one (1) or more functional areas with a long term ordering period in accordance with the existing MAC. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333517 ""Machine Tool Manufacturing"", with a size standard of 500 employeesand the Product Service Code (PSC) of 4920 Aircraft ""Maintenance and Repair Shop Specialized Equipment."" Theselected codes represent the majoritytype ofwork anticipated for EPaS. This effort is currently estimated at approximately $249 million.
