Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is for market research only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Grand Forks Air Force Base (GFAFB), has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions that has the capability to fulfill a requirement at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The requirement is as follows: The contractor shall provide a maintenance overhaul of the Sentinel System at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The contractor shall purchase and install two (2) PowerEdge R540 Servers with 64 terabytes storage on each, fifteen (15) layer three switches and routers throughout the installation, one (1) RAPID System Radio replacement involving three FIPS enabled AES 256 Radio OCU's, and three (3) FIPS enabled AES 256 RAPID Radios. They will ensure that all processes of integration and testing are conducted properly before turnover of the system to 319 SFS. The equipment must be integrated into the existing system which operates on the Sentinel Security System Command and Control Software. Reimbursements will not be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to the sources sought or any follow-up information request. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilizes Business Zones (HUBZone), Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business�s (EDWOSB) to compete for this requirement. Any information received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of interested, capable commercial companies. Responses are to be emailed to jhala.neupane@us.af.mil and or michael.mckenzie.8@us.af.mil. Negative responses are not required. Capable and interested sources must respond to this sources sought no later than 12:00 p.m. CST on 28 March 2022.
