- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Hotchkiss CO has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 140F0522Q0073. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will be issued and attached to this posting for reference only. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04, effective January 30, 2022. This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 332420, Metal Tank (heavy gauge) Manufacturing and the business size standard is 750. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting quotes provide one (1) new double walled 500-gallon tank system, per attached statement of work. QUOTES SHALL REMAIN VALID FOR A MINIMUM OF 30-DAYS. Desired Delivery: 90 days after contract award, and submittal approval. If vendor cannot meet desired delivery date; vendor shall provide on their quote when the can meet delivery, to include consideration of the barge schedule. NOTE: Vendor is responsible for determining method of tank delivery. The only known method of transportation to the delivery location is by barge. One known source is Lynden AML, 206-763-3000, westernakcs@lynden.com, www.shipaml.com. Vendor shall provide quote FOB to destination. Vendor shall provide, at a minimum, initial shop drawings and appurtenance data with sufficient details to show they meet government requirements to perform what is required within the statement of work. The basis for award is Best Value to the government. In addition, your proposal should provide unit price and total price, if applicable. No formal format is required as this is a combined synopsis/request for proposal solicitation. Offers must be received by 5:00 pm Eastern Time, 4/12/2022. Proposals/quotes shall be emailed to: tina_baker@fws.gov. Questions may be asked until: 31 Mar 2022. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in the Internet Payment Platform (IPP) DOI Electronic Invoicing instructions, and all clauses in the attached solicitation documentation. In order to have a quote considered, all offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://www.sam.gov) as an active vendor by the closing date of this solicitation. Quotes received from firms not registered in SAM by award date will not be considered.
