Description

PURSUANT TO FAR Subpart 5.2�Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions, THIS IS A NOTICE OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION UNDER CURRENT CONTRACT NO. HHSN316201200110W, TASK ORDER NO. 75N95020F00001 (NIDA REF. NO. N02DA-20-2001) WITH CANDOR SOLUTIONS, LLC. (CONTRACTOR) WHICH WAS INITIALLY AWARDED USING FAR 16.5 PROCEDURES. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) intends to modify the total labor hours by 8,640 under N02DA-20-2001 during the current period of performance for the following labor categories: Application Developer; Application Developer (Cold Fusion); Application Developer (Java); Project Manager; QA Manager / Lead Tester; Application Programmer � Lead; Database Administrator. The revised effort is consistent with the scope of work and the tasks established in the Statement of Work. This modification to the total labor hours under the current option period is necessary to sustain NIDA�s application modernization process currently underway and prevent any delays or disruption of support services for ongoing operations. � This notice is being published by NIDA in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201. The statutory authority for this sole source modification is under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) under provisions of the statutory authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received within fifteen days of this posting. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely at the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. NIDA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this notice.
