Description

NAVSUP Weapons System Support (NAVSUP WSS) intends to exercise the 6-Month Option (CLIN 0006) for the F414 Fleet Support Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contract � N00383-18-D-P601. The contract is with General Electric (GE), Cage Code 99207 in Lynn, MA. The PBL supports F414 aviation engine maintenance (See Attachment A for list of items).� The list of supported items includes 775, F414 engine components including 34 7R Families of repairable NIINs (71 in total) and 704 1R consumable NIINs.� The contractor is required to provide PBL support for all items which includes but is not limited to the following: The repair or replacement of the 71 repairable components and supplying or manufacturing the parts needed for those repairs Supplying or manufacturing the 704 consumable components Partnering with the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Jacksonville, FL for repair ""touch"" labor Maintaining a pool of assets required to fill requisitions within specified response times Operating logistic management systems Requisition processing Obsolescence and configuration management Warehousing Packaging and handling.� GE is the only know source who can perform this work and the contract was awarded under FAR 6.302-1. Any other responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements.� WSS will not delay the exercising of this option while Source Approval is pending.��� The POC is Christian Ingerson Christian.j.ingerson.civ@us.navy.mil.
