Kraemer Blvd, Brea CA 92821: The Department of Veterans Affairs, New York & New Jersey Health Care Network - South (VISN 2 South) intends to award a short-term sole-source, firm fixed price BPA (Blanket Purchase Agreement) to Radiometer America, 250 S. Kraemer Blvd, Brea CA 92821 in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.405-6. The BPA will be effective April 25, 2022, through October 23,2022. The acquisition sought is a short-term BPA that will cover 6 months of reagents, consumables, supplies needed to produce a cost-per-test (CPT) and for the continued usage of contractor-owned equipment currently on-site at VISN 2 South Medical Centers identified above. VA personnel utilize the equipment and reagents to perform patient Blood Gas Testing. The NAICS is 325413 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The current BPA with Radiometer America Inc. will expire on April 24th, 2022, and this short -term BPA is needed to continue to provide Blood Gas Testing until equipment from a new long-term BPA awarded 11/04/2021 is fully tested and integrated. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government may consider all Expressions of Interest received prior to April 06, 2022. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice must be emailed to kendall.jones@va.gov and received by 1300 hours EST on April 06, 2022. Submitters are responsible for ensuring their EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on-time.
