- See attachment for NSN List. This effort is to implement repair capabilities for Olympus test equipment utilized by the Air Force�s Non-Destructive Inspection program. While the Air Force uses test equipment from many different manufacturers, the Air Force has acquired a large quantity of Olympus equipment over the years. This effort would enable the repair of several NSNs supplied by Olympus which include Ultrasonic Test Sets, Metal Flaw Detectors and Probe Holders. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 04/14/2022.� The RFP will be posted to the SAM webpage.� NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED.� The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the same website. All vendors are required to register to gain access to information which is restricted on SAM.gov. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Olympus America Incorporated (CAGE Code:� 1KY21) under authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements due to the discovery during the market research phase of this effort.� Market Research founded that no additional vendors�are capable of specifically repairing Olympus equipment. ��However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote(s).�� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Some of the attachments have restrictions on distribution. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation data. To receive access, you must request access via beta.SAM and send an email to the POC which includes a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement.
