- This is not a request for proposal The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground ACC-APG is issuing this pre-solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.203-2 & FAR 5.204 on behalf of The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM CBC). DEVCOM CBC is designated as the nation�s principal research and development resource for non-medical chemical-biological (CB) defense. In accordance with these assignments, DEVCOM CBC provides the following: Additive Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Acquisition, Acquisition Logistics, and Product Realization. �The Government intends to publish a solicitation for Additive Manufacturing/3D Printer with the minimum required capabilities: Minimal feature size: 50 um Nominal build area: 4.25� length x 7.5� width x 14.5� height Stereolithography Ultraviolet curing, photochemical process using digital light projection No delivery requirements to consider. Urethane materials capability On-board build optimization Data output* Inerted chamber* X,Y,Z resolution of 75 um, 100um Insitu monitoring * Accuracy +/- 200 microns Machine build volume of at least 7�x4.5�x12.5� Produces fully dense parts Heated Vat: Heated vat for use with Printer Build Platform: Build Platform for use with the Printer Software: Slicing and processing software. Non-cloud based. Open parameters with indefinite license (no annual fee) Resins: Must run the following Materials: Resin, Clear, physical properties compare to Polypropylene Resin, physical properties compare to Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene - ABS Resin, physical properties compare to Nylon Resin, physical properties, elastomeric, compare to Commercial Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) - Shore A Hardness 70 Resin, physical properties compare to medical grade ABS, Biocompatible, sterilizable Resin, 15% glass-filled Nylon 6 Resin, physical properties compare to Polypropylene Urethane - impact, abrasion, and fatigue resistant Hardness 71, Shore D Resin, SIL 30 -Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene (SEBS) Thermoplastic� Elastomer (TPE) soft, Biocompatible, tear resistant Resin, Biocompatible, single cure resin Installation & Complimentary Initial Training: After initial delivery, Contractor personnel shall install and test equipment on-site per company guidelines. Contractor shall provide up to one (1) business day of hands-on training with the objective of making Subscriber�s users comfortable with operating the printer. One (1) year warranty on printer and all machine parts.
