Description
This is an update to the FY21 notice; that notification did not result in a contract award due to funding not being made available.� This is now a FY22 requirement; reference: FA8629-22-R-5048. The AFLCMC Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Special Operations Forces (SOF) Directorate, SOF and Personnel Recovery Division, Special Warfare Contracting (SW) Branch (AFLCMC/WISK) is tasked to procure training courses for the operation and maintenance of the Falcon IV AN/PRC-163 NG Multi-channel (MC) Handheld (HH) (�AN/PRC-163 NGHH�) radio.�� � L3Harris (previously Harris RF Communications) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the Falcon Family of Systems (FoS) radios, and is the only source known to have�the capability to provide the required�training.� As such, AFLCMC/WISK, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH,�intends to issue a sole-source contract to L3Harris,1680 University Ave., Rochester, NY,�for the acquisition of 26 initial training courses and 8 refresher training courses, to commence in FY22.� A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis. All information submitted should support the respondent�s capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost of obligation to the Government.� Responses must be in writing and must proivde clear and concise documentation. The Government shall consider responses that are received not later than the response period stated in this notice.� All inquiries and responses may be submitted in writing (phone calls will not be accepted) to amber.taylor.9@us.af.mil.�
