Description

Subject: Notice of Intent to Sole Source NAICS Code: 511210 Software Publishers. Solicitation Number: N4248522Q0007 The Department of The Navy, Assistant for Administration (DON/AA), Contract Management Division (CMD), 1000 Navy Pentagon, Room 5E158 Washington, DC 20350 intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Parts 8 and 13 to International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) to provide Navy International Program Office (NIPO) located at Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC six (6) users Military Balance Plus (MILBAL+) subscription licenses, P/N 19582017-2 manufactured by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). MILBAL + is an on-line, open-source, defense database that provides updated information for 170+ countries regarding defense equipment, acquisitions, armed forces structure and size, exercise and deployment information and defense economics. The only supplier identified by the Navy who is capable of fulfilling the requirement is IISS. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this supply falls under is 511210 with a size standard of $41.5M and the PSC Code is 7030/ 7F20. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to provide this requirement must respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the company�s ability to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses are received within two (2) days after the publication of this notice, then a sole source acquisition award will be made.
