Description

This is a presolicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2.� This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it to be construed as a commitment.� This is being released as a draft RFP with the ability for industry to provide input and suggestions to the government on the process/format of this requirement. Questions can be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Capt Donald Goeb, at donald.goeb@us.af.mil or the Contract Specialist, Jenna Schieltz, at jenna.schieltz@us.af.mil; however, the government does not guarantee responses to questions submitted to this presolicitation notice. The proposed contract action is to provide the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Architecture & Integration Directorate (AFLCMC/XA) with a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (MAC ID/IQ) contract to fulfill requirements within three categories as listed in the Statement of Work (SOW): Capability Development/Development Planning, Systems Development, and Synthetic Environment Development. Qualified vendor pools will be established for each category and future requirements will be competed within the appropriate category in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR 16.505(b). Contractors may submit a proposal for one, some or all of the SOW categories. The base ordering period for the MAC ID/IQ will be five years from the date of contract award, and will include options for a total of an additional five years. This will be conducted as a full and open competition; all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation is expected to be released on or after 31 March 2022.
