What do you mean by integration of the solar system into BMS? What do you want done? The existing solar system is currently a stand alone system. There is an existing contract with a 3rd party company that monitors our Solar production. The intent of this item is for the Controls Contractor to provide integration of the PV system into the KMC EMS in order to keep track of Solar Production (and trends) and other metrics provided by the PV System. This will allow the VA to rescind from the 3rd party contracts to keep track of these metrics. 2. On the pricing schedule of values, what doe Not to Exceed Threshold for Repairs, mean? That s for repairs to the equipment which are not responsible for under the terms of the contract. Not to Exceed Threshold for Repairs. **The Quantity for Repairs is only an estimate, Contractor will only be paid for work ordered and completed"". This will minimize the need for a contract Mod for additional repairs if required during the life of the contract. 3. Do you want the EVAPCO s level sensors that are not working repaired? Yes, please include this repair. 4. Will there be an initial site inspection to verify the condition of each piece of equipment after award? Yes, the Government will allow 30 Days to provide a report on existing conditions as well as proposal for repairs for those items not covered under contract terms. 5. Task #5: Daily Runtime Reports . A KKT chiller is on this list. KKT does not allow anyone to service their machines unless that company is OEM certified. Do you expect the tech to be OEM certified? Yes, an OEM certified technician shall be provided as required by manufacturer. 7. Task#3 Daily Runtime Reports . Does this mean that the VA would like a tech there every day to log the chillers? This task is under Monthly however the task mentions Daily ? Task will be done on a monthly basis only. 8. EMS Controls: if an air flow monitoring station is currently not on the network. Do you want us to price for diagnosis or replacement? No. Once the contract is awarded, then a proposal for repair would be requested. This would require an open and inspect in order to provide a firm price. What do you want us to do to this chiller? Include all diagnostic services into the cost of the contract. Once the contract is awarded, a proposal for repair should be provided to the VA to make the repairs. 13.
