Description
The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) in Mountain Home, TN has a requirement to procure and install Building 200 Main Atrium Doors at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN 37684. The Contractor/Vendor shall provide installation, materials, labor, travel, tools, and supervision pertaining to the acquisition and installation of the doors as follows: A.3 SCOPE OF WORK: A.3.1. Two (2) Horton 2003 Bi-part Sliding Door FSL. A.3.2. Two (2) Special Overall Frame Width to match current opening. A.3.3. Two (2) Narrow Stile Door Leaves for all. A.3.4. Two (2) 10 Bottom Rails on all. A.3.5. One (1) 1/4"" Bronze Tint Tempered Glass, to be put on the outer doors. A.3.6. One (1) 1/4"" Clear Tempered Door Glass, to be put on the inner doors. A.3.7. Two (2) 2 Coat Painted Finish matching color of existing painted parts. A.3.8. All work to be performed by trained auto door installers. A.3.9. Debris removal and clean-up by vendor. A.3.10. Safety zones and barricades with proper exhaust ventilation are the responsibility of the contractor. A.3.11. All property, surfaces, and existing area surrounding the construction site shall be restored to its original condition prior to final inspection of this contract. A.3.12. Contractor/Vendor will supply copies of manuals, drawings, schematics, warranty information, test results and any other related documents pertaining to this ""statement of work"". A.3.13. Contractor/Vendor is responsible for programming of equipment for proper operation and instructional operational training if requested. B.1 WORK REQUIREMENTS: B.1.1. All materials, labor, travel, etc. to be furnished by contractor/vendors. B.1.2. All work to be completed in a craftsmanship and safe manner. B.1.3. All work to be completed in a reasonable time frame. Pricing is based on normal working hours, 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM Monday through Friday or scheduled after normal working hours to reduce operational interference. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, applies to this requirement. The small business size standard is $39.5M. The estimated range of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000 (FAR Part 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects). This requirement will be procured per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14.101 - Sealed Bidding. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about April 14, 2022, and close on or about May 16, 2022. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C ยง8127 (d) for only those SDVOSB s listed and viewable in the Center for Verification & Evaluation (CVE) database located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. The CVE database will be checked at the time of offer submission as well as prior to award. All offers must also have an active listing in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to award any award being made. Questions related to this requirement will only be addressed in writing by way of email to the Contract Specialist at vance.rosebush@va.gov. The Project number, Project Name and Solicitation Number must be included in the subject line of all questions related to this requirement.
