DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS VETERANS NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE (NCO) 16 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) 36C25622Q0659 DESCRIPTION: The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks-Fort Smith, Fayetteville, AR is seeking following items: Description Qty 42 Gas Commercial Deep Fryer Must be exactly 42 wide with a height of 46.25 inches and a depth of 30.13 inches and include a 2 battery 65-70 lb. capacity per vat. The unit must have millivolt thermostat controls. The unit must have a stainless steel mesh oil filtration system with a 1/3 HP pump that is capable of moving the oil at 8 gallons per minute and include twin fryer baskets with plastic coated handles. Must have a stainless steel cabinet and fry tank. The millivolt thermostats must range from 200-400 degrees F. Must include 6 adjustable casters for movement during cleaning and maintenance. Must include a clean-out rod, stainless steel crumb scoop, and a tank brush The electrical system must be 120v and feature a NEMA 5-15P cord and plug. The Fryer must have a total gas input of 300,000 BTU per hour. 1 DELIVERY LOCATION: Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks-Fort Smith 1100 North College Avenue Fayetteville, AR 72703 SUPPLY SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND WARRANTY: Must be an authorized distributor of the manufacture. The warranty and support must cover all components of this requirement in accordance with standard manufacturer s warranty. REQUESTED RESPONSES: The intent of this RFI is to establish sources in order to define the procurement strategy (e.g set-aside, sole source, unrestricted). Please respond to this RFI if you are capable of providing supplies that can be determined EQUIVALENT to the products listed in the in the description section above. Please provide details on proposed EQUIVALENT products such as Manufacturer Name, Part Number, and Description. If you have an existing GSA or Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract, please include the contract details in your response. DISTRIBUTORS: You must provide proof that you are an authorized distributor. VA does not accept grey market items. Please note that VA is particularly interested in determining the availability of Small Business Manufacturers. If your company is a small business manufacturer of potentially equivalent items, please respond to this RFI. Vendors are requested to submit estimated market research pricing with their responses. The estimated pricing will be considered when determining the procurement strategy for the future solicitation. (e.g. if CO determines that capable small businesses cannot provide fair and reasonable pricing, then the solicitation will not be set-aside). Please note that if no responses to this notice are received, from either authorized distributors of the cited brand name nor from manufacturers marketing a potentially equivalent brand, then this action will be sole sourced to the manufacturer cited in the in the description section above.
