- SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS ONLY A SURVEY OF THE MARKET TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS THAT CAN SATISFY THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: PNUM - 5644376 DREDGE CGC OBION MOORINGS & FLOATING DOCK REPLACEMENT AT CGC OBION IN OWENSBORO, KY. The work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and tools to demolish and dispose of the existing concrete floating dock sections. The existing concrete floating dock consists of seven (7) sections 18 feet wide. There are two (2) 12 x 18 foot sections, four (4) 10 x 18 foot sections and a trapezoidal section at one end. Replace all seven (7) sections of the existing prefabricated concrete floating dock, including full replacement of the thru-rods, walers, coverboards, hardware, and install new type D rubber fenders. The internal and external pile guides will also be replaced in accordance with the specifications described herein and manufacturer�s specifications. The Contractor shall also furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, and supervision necessary to dredge and dispose of materials from the boat basin at U.S. Coast Guard Station Owensboro as well as removing and disposing of floating and submerged debris around the dredging area. Remove the existing aluminum gangway and service lines to allow floating dock and dredging work, provide temporary storage, and re-install. The performance period will be one hundred eighty (180) calendar days. The estimated value of this procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2017 code is 237990. The small business size standard has an annual gross receipt of $39.5 million. Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds are REQUIRED. However a waiver for bid bonds is being considered. The following are tentative dates for this project: Solicitation Issued: April 2022 Bid Opening: May 2022 Contract Performance Completion: December 2022 The solicitation and plans in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at https://sam.gov under the above solicitation number. The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for Women-Owned (WOSB), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Small Business concerns. At present, this acquisition is expected to be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside.
