Description

As of the date of this synopsis, this contract has not been released. The purpose of this synopsis is to notify the public of a sole source award to Cepheid for service agreements for Cepheid-brand machines at Reynolds Army Health Clinic in Fort Sill, OK. The proposed award date is 6 April 2022 under contract W81K0022P0107 and will have a base year and four option periods, all of which will last a year in length. Any interested parties are welcome to submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which all shall be considered by the issuing agency. A redacted J&A and contract award are available upon request. Pursuant to the authority at FAR 5.207(c): (1) NATIONAL STOCK NUMBER (NSN): RESERVED (2) SPECIFICATION: This requirement will be a sole-source award to provide service agreements for Cepheid-brand machines at Reynolds Army Health Clinic in Fort Sill, OK. (3) MANUFACTURER: Cepheid; Item Numbers to be serviced:�GX16A1Y,�GX44A1Y. (4) DESCRIPTION: This requirement is to provide service agreements to four Cepheid-brand machines. (5) MATERIAL OF MANUFACTURER: RESERVED (6) QUANTITY: Each performance period will have four CLINs with a qty of 12 each; each CLIN represents a machine to be worked. (7) UNIT OF ISSUE: Months (8) DESTINATION: Fort Sill, OK (9) DELIVERY SCHEDULE: This contract will have a base and four option periods all of which will last twelve (12) months in length. (10) DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD: 6 April 2022 to 5 April 2027. (11) SUSTAINABLE ACQUISITION REQUIREMENTS: RESERVED (12) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR SAP ACTIONS: A solicitation will not be posted on sam.gov, but any interested parties are welcome to submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which all shall be considered by the issuing agency. Proposed award date is 6 April 2022. (13) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR AE PROJECTS: RESERVED (14) ADDITIONAL BUY-AMERICAN CLAUSES: RESERVED (15) JUSTIFYING LACK OF COMPETITION: This contract is a sole-source action - Cepheid contains all the property rights for Cepheid and is the sole entity responsible for providing service to their machines. Market research suggested no third party authorized dealers can perform the services as required by the Government. A redacted J&A is available upon request. (16) SOLE-SOURCE ACTIONS: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
