Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25222B0028 Project: Replace Building 123 Mental Health Emergency Generator and Switchboard Project Number: 695-21-104 Location: Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 695-21-104 Replace Building 123 Mental Health Emergency Generator and Switchboard at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. This project includes: a. Replace existing emergency generator: i. Remove existing emergency generator and 600-gallon underground diesel fuel tank ii. New gas line installed by WE Energies as a sub-contractor on the project iii. Install new 750 KVA generator and associated electrical equipment b. Perform civil site demolition and new work as noted c. Perform architectural demolition and new work as noted d. Perform MEP demolition and new work as noted The project magnitude range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors); size standard $16.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 360 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a: SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP CVE-VetBiz database at: https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled be posted to Contract Opportunities found at https://beta.sam.gov/ on or about April 13, 2022. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for May 13, 2022. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
