UPDATE #4: 4 April 2022 AFDW Industry Week begins tomorrow. Those that RSVP'd have received a calendar invite with the WebEx link, event COVID guidance, and final agenda.�The event COVID guidance and agenda are included in this sam.gov update below. *Pay special attention to the COVID guidance.*� If you've RSVPd and did not receive a WebEx calendar invite please contact Ms. Alexis Huggins at�alexis.huggins@us.af.mil and Ms. Destiny Wood at destiny.wood.1@us.af.mil.� AGENDA CHANGES:� For those that requested one-on-ones with SAF/FM, due to demand and senior leader availability we've opted for one large group 'on-on-one' session vs. 20+ separate one-on-ones. During that breakout, you'll have the opportunity to hear from Ms. Jeanette Duncan (SAF/FM CIO) and Ms. Tiffany Rodriguez (Contracting Officer) on SAF/FM forecasted requirements. Individual one-on-ones on SAF/FM requirements can be scheduled after industry week by contacting the Contracting Officer (CO) Ms. Tiffany Rodriguez at tiffany.rodriguez.4@us.af.mil.�Another addition to the agenda is a second large group 'one-on-one' from SAF/MG who will discuss forecasted requirements on category management.� Details on that newly added requirement is attached to this sam.gov update and will presented on the main stage to allow max participation. EVENT COVID GUIDANCE (this was included in Friday's WebEx calendar invite): BLUF:� Upon registration, in-person attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test obtained within 72hrs. Phone image of your negative test, proof of vaccination, or exemption is sufficient. DETAILS: In order to comply with Air Force guidance on COVID mitigation actions to be taken at events less than 250 participants, the following applies to AFDW Industry Week: Service members attending without an approved or pending administrative, medical, or religious exemption shall be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Service members attending with an approved or pending exemption will provide proof of negative COVID-19 test obtained no more than 72hrs before event check in. Civilian employees, DoD Contractors, and all other invited guests will provide proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test obtained no more than 72 hours prior to event check in. Face masks must be worn during the event. The event auditorium and breakout rooms will be organized in order to maintain social distancing. Event MC, speakers, briefers, and panelists may remove face masks when presenting on the main stage. For those that registered, thank you! With over 350 in person and virtual attendees we're excited for what this year's event has in store. For those that missed the suspense, after the event concludes we will post briefing material from our presenters here. Given the volume of in-person registrations we're opening up overflow rooms at the Smart Center. When max capacity is reached in the main stage auditorium, attendees will be seated in nearby overflow rooms (also at the Smart Center) where we will live stream the event via WebEx. This will allow in person registrants to participate at the Smart Center while also meeting the social distancing requirements of the facility.�� Coffee, tea, water and light snacks will be available each morning in the atrium for a small landing fee. If interested, $15 payment can be made during check in at the registration table. Cash payment preferred. Food trucks will be available for lunch at the Smart Center Parking Lot Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and will be pay as you go. The Joint Base Andrews Food Court located at the Base Exchange also has an assortment of options and is less than 5 min drive from the venue. There are also local establishments off base, however be mindful of gate delays when returning to base. Masks are optional at the event. If time permits, most of our presenters have agreed to a Q&A session after their remarks. Please bring your questions. SAVE THE DATE: The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) will be hosting an Industry Week 5-8 April 2022 and like last year we're gearing up for another great event!� We will use this SAM.gov site to share information so, check back frequently for the registration information and other helpful information. BACKGROUND: Industry Week provides the Air Force District of Washington and its mission partners an opportunity to communicate their missions, outline future government needs and requirements (1-3 year horizon), and obtain insight into the private sector�s unique capabilities.
