**This update does not constitute formal solicitation. The formal solicitation will be posted mid-week, and an organized site visit will be held on Monday, 11 April 2022 at 10:00AM AKST. Please meet in the parking lot at 7252 Gibson Ave."" The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm-fixed price contract for Repair the 176WG Wellness Center, at the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK.� The magnitude of the project, to include option CLINS, is between $100,000 - $250,000. A bid bond is required in the amount of 20% of the offer or $3,000,000.00, whichever is less. The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 150 days after notice to proceed for the base contract.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $39.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states ""By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees"" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 6 April 2022. The tentative date for an organized site visit is 11 April 2022 at 7252 Gibson Ave, JBER, AK. The meeting location and time is subject to change. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow base access requirements explained in the solicitation notice to be posted on or around 6 April 2022.� The solicitation closing date is scheduled for on-or-about 7 May 2022. �Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation.
