Description

Pursuant to FAR 5.201, this announcement is a synopsis of the U.S. Army Contracting Command � Detroit Arsenal's, (ACC-DTA's) intent to award a sole source modification, to DCS Corporation, CAGE code 1P418, to provide the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC aka DEVCOM) Ground Vehicle Systems Center, (GVSC) continued Technical and Engineering Services (TES) to programs managed, integrated, engineered, and developed by DEVCOM GVSC. This modification is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. ACC-DTA intends to award a modification to the existing contract, W56HZV-17-C-0062, to increase the contract ceiling and extend the contract�s period of performance through June 2023.� The purpose of this contract extension is to ensure continuous performance of the required services while the Government conducts the necessary activities required by procurement regulations for the best value competitive source selection follow-on contract award.� The period of this extension is anticipated to cover these source selection activities as well as a transition period after award of the competitive effort.
