- Description
- The following are Questions that were received from industry and the Government s responses to each pertaining to the proposed VA Human Capital IT Modernization effort: Q1: Is the posting of an RFI on Alliant-2 just an additional form of market research, or has the government determined the acquisition strategy will be Alliant-2 for the solicitation as well?Just curious, as during the industry day, the government stated that T4NG was not likely to be used, but no mention of Alliant-2 or other vehicles. A1: The acquisition strategy is not yet approved. T4NG will not be the vehicle used. The RFI on Alliant 2 was for additional market research. Q2: Since the RFI deadline has passed, would the government accept RFI submissions late? A2: No, the RFI submission period has ended. Q3: With the Q&A stating that O&M will be separated out, does IBM getting the O&M impact the timeline for this acquisition? A3: VA is tracking right now for a release of the solicitation sometime in June. Q4: Will the government be doing 1-1 meeting with vendors following industry day and the RFI process? A4: No, VA does not intend to hold 1-1 meetings. **UPDATE** BE ADVISED: the Government is removing O&M from the VA Human Capital IT Modernization effort.
