Description
AMENDMENT II (5 April 2022) - The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate visuals of the lower seat support and LH/RH wheel well upper seat support. Both images are available in the attachments section of this notice. ---------- END OF AMENDMENT II (5 APRIL 2022) ---------- AMENDMENT I (24 March 2022) - The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate a Pitch Day event using DoD Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) procedures as part of this vendor fair. Little Rock Air Force Base (LRAFB) will be accepting pitches for a solution to the following problem: Overview: The 19th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) is seeking assistance in solving a reoccurring inventory storage problem for temporary storage. Background:The 19th AMXS is responsible for removing items from the interior of the aircraft during scheduled long term maintenance. These items are currently placed in large square boxes with no ability to organize or safely store the equipment without an excessive use of space or reduce said space utilization and cause damage to the materials. Requested Solution Requirements: The 19 AMXS is seeking a secure mobile storage solution to be able to store the equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The solution must be able to be transported via use of a trailer-hitch, forklift, or other common source coordinated and cleared by the 19th AMXS, so that items can be loaded or offloaded from the aircraft. During the transportation phase each part must be able to be secured to ensure the parts are not damaged during movement. The solution needs to have the capability of being stored without the parts being exposed to the elements. The solution must have dedicated storage for each part to allow for a quick inventory and individual part access. The solution must be able to contain at least one aircraft worth of material and a maximum of two aircraft's material. The solution must be able to contain all materials listed in the attachment ""C-130 Total Inventory_v1.1,"" and is recommended to have a spare location for other medium sized materials. Other Information: Total expected inventory list includes 526 items of various sizes with an expected total weight of 3,400 4,000 Ibs. The full inventory list including part description, individual part weights and sizes, quantity numbers, and any recommended storage notes. Separately pictures of individual parts are available upon request. The 19th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) is seeking assistance in solving a reoccurring inventory storage problem for temporary storage. Solutions shall not exceed $150,000 in price as determined by the LRAFB CSO team. Solutions shall be submitted in writing to19CONS.PK.VENDORS@us.af.mil and trenton.sikute@us.af.mil by 14 April 2022 8:00 AM CST. Submissions are limited to 7 pages and should explain the proposed solution, pricing estimates, and any other relevant details. Submissions will not be shared with other vendors. Submissions will be evaluated for meeting advertisement requirements (see ""Requested Solution Requirements"" above) on a pass/fail basis. Submissions that receive a ""pass"" marking will be further evaluated based on price.Vendors are permitted to submit more than one solution. The government reserves the right to invite as many vendors as desired to pitch their solution(s). If selected, vendors will be invited to present a pitch on 25 April 2022 at the vendor fair or through a virtual option. Presentations will be limited to 15 minutes, followed by time for Q&A with government representatives. Only government representatives will be present for the pitch. The government reserves the decision whether to award any pitches presented. Only solutions to the above problem statement will be considered for this event; all others are encouraged to participate in the vendor fair. Please direct questions to19CONS.PK.VENDORS@us.af.mil and trenton.sikute@us.af.mil. ---------- END OF AMENDMENT I (24 MARCH 2022) ---------- Little Rock Air Force Base (LRAFB) will be hosting a vendor fair on Monday, April 25th beginning at 9:00 AM at the LRAFB Education Center (2500 John Harden Drive, Jacksonville AR 72076). This event is being hosted by HerkWerx and the 19th Contracting Squadron and is designed to connect small businesses interested in working with LRAFB with Government Purchase Card (GPC) holders & experts from base while allowing these businesses the opportunity to demonstrate what they have to offer. Authorized government personnel will be encouraged to make purchases within their authority if deemed in the best interest of the government. Vendors are highly encouraged to bring their innovative products and or services to this event, as the HerkWerx lab is specifically designed for innovation at LRAFB. Innovation is being defined as a better solution than what is currently available to LRAFB; products and services need to be innovative to current capabilities at LRAFB to meet the innovative definition. However, this is a general-purpose vendor fair where all small businesses are invited to participate. Please RSVP by 4 April 2022 to 19CONS.PK.VENDORS@us.af.mil. This event has limited space and vendors who do not RSVP will be allotted space on a first-come first-served basis.Basic tables will be available for use. Vendors are asked to bring their own tablecloth. Wi-Fi will not be available. Heavy equipment or bulky items need to be coordinated with the vendor fair team via the 19CONS.PK.VENDORS@us.af.mil email. The LRAFB Education Center is not within the perimeter of the main base so a base-access pass will not be required to participate. Current Covid-19 posture requires masks to be worn within the education center facility. This direction is subject to change to include cancellation of the event in a worst-case scenario. Please contact 19CONS.PK.VENDORS@us.af.mil with any questions.
