Description

Nomenclature/Noun � Repair and Upgrade of F107 Containers 5. NSN � Please Refer to Appendix I in the attachment to this posting. 6. PN � Please Refer to Appendix I in the attachment to this posting. 7. Application (Engine or Aircraft) � F107 Engine 8. RMC/RMSC � R2/G 9. History � No Repair History Available 10. Description: The 421 SCMS has a need for repair and upgrade services for the F107 Container. This requirement is supported 100% via contractor as the OCALC has no organic support capability at this time. The F107 engine container is a modified version of the common roto-molded plastic case used by various DoD components for the storage and shipment of equipment. The container has been modified with an internal cradle suitable for supporting the F107-101 and F107-400 engines, an electrical grounding system, a document holder, and a compartment for desiccant bags. The containers are subject to leakage from damage or wear, and must be repaired to safely transport and store F107 engines. The following Technical Orders will not be provided by the Government and will be need to be acquired by potential vendors. See Attached Fact Sheet. 00-5-1 - AF Technical Order System 00-35D-54 - USAF Deficiency Reporting, Investigation and Resolution 35E20-3-34-1 - Operation and Maintenance Instructions � Overhaul Instructions with Parts Breakdown � Depot Maintenance � Container, Shipping and Storage, Engine, CNU368E The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed price (FFP), requirements-type contract comprised of One Base Year with Four One-Year Option Periods and a projected period of performance from July 2022 to July 2027. Surge Option is also included and will only be utilized if necessary IAW DFARS 252.217-7001. Please refer to Appendix I in the attachment to this posting for CLIN and NSN breakdown.
