**Amendment 2** 5 April 2022 The purpose of this amendment is to extend the date offers are due from 6 April 2022 to 15 April 2022. **Amendment 1** 30 Mar 2022 The purpose of this amendment is to increase the radius of eligible vendors from two-miles from Pentagon or Crystal City to 5-miles from Pentagon or Crystal City.� An updated SOW has been attached. ** COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION �COMBO � Diversity and Inclusion Conference �� � (i)�� �This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. � � The Air Force District of Washington Contracting Directorate (AFDW/PK), 1500 W. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1�� �Technical approach adhering to this solicitation and Statement of Work. (Acceptable/Unacceptable).� 2�� �Distance from location to nearest metro station. (The location closest to a metro station will be evaluated more favorably) 3�� �Price. **NOTE: Third-party companies that offer logistical support will not be considered unless part of a teaming arrangement with the Hotel. The proposal must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirements of this solicitation. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The right to make multiple or no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. (xii)�� �AFFARS CLAUSE (a)�� �5352.201-9101 �� �OMBUDSMAN (OCT 2019) � � (a)�� �An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the interested party to another official who can resolve the concern.� (b)�� �Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution.
