Description
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide maintaining engineering services for the AGM-88 High Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) Weapon System including technical and engineering Services. Our maintaining engineering services strategy is a five-year contract and will continue through FY28. The AGM-88 Weapon System consist of the hardware and software sustainment of the AGM-88B, AGM-88C, AGM-88F, and AGM-88H missiles, the LAU-118(v)4/A launcher which can include the Aircraft Launcher Interface Computer (ALIC), the Guided Missile-Launcher Test Set (GM-LTS), the HARM Data Collection System (HDCS) and other associated engineering and support equipment. Engineering and Technical support is required to ensure the serviceability, performance and reliability of components of the AGM-88 Weapon System. The AGM-88 HARM missile is a supersonic air to surface tactical missile designed to seek and destroy enemy radar equipped air defense systems. The proportional guidance system homes in on enemy radar emissions through a fixed antenna and seeker head in the missile nose for AGM-88B/C variants. AGM-88F/H variants contain an upgraded control section which adds precision GPS navigation to increase overall weapon effectiveness. The Aircraft Launcher Interface Computer (ALIC) is used to support the launch of AGM-88B/C/F/H missiles. The ALIC provides an avionics interface between the missile and aircraft for the transfer of necessary power, control, and display signals. The ALIC is a Shop Replacement Assembly (SRA) consisting of Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs) including CPU, mux bus, memory video, system I/O, and relay circuit card assemblies (CCAs). The AN/GSM-396 Guided Missile Launcher Test Set (GM-LTS) is GSE consisting of the Interface Adapter Unit (IAU), Computer Indicator Test Set (CITS), Reprogramming Interface Assembly (RIA), and RF source. The GM-LTS performs field-level testing of the HARM AUR and programs/verifies the HARM AUR and the LAU-118 launcher computer, and the ALIC. Engineering services would also be required for other systems and support equipment that the HARM program office is involved with. These systems include but are not limited to AARGM/AARGM-ER, SiAW, CMBRE, PARAT/TIDS, and other associated engineering and support equipment.
