Description

THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Plains Area Office has a requirement to renovate and modernize the laboratory space to improve the operation and functionality of the current space by combining four small laboratories (150, 152, 154, 156) to create one large shared laboratory. The work includes the complete interior demolition of lab and office space in a 2,500 square foot ground floor wing of the building; HVAC system repairs; and complete rebuild of the lab and office space to meet modern lab standards. and incidental related work. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for the renovation/addition. �In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. Approximate Place of Performance (exact will by shown by government representative) Grand Forks Human Nutrition Resource Center (GFHNRC) 2420 2nd Ave N Grand Forks, ND 58203 USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price construction contract.� The Request for Proposal (RFP), 12805B22R0009, may be issued on or around� 10 May 2022.� The NAICS Code shall be 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $39.5M. Completion timeframe for the resulting contract is to be determined. The RFP will be accessible via sam.gov in the �Contracting Opportunities� section. Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference and Site Visit Tentatively scheduled for 23 May 2022 @ 9:00am Central.� �If interesed please email BOTH toinette.aranda@usda.gov and�ars-chris.johnson@usda.gov.� Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments.
