Description
This is a notice of intent that Air Force Sustainment Center ( AFSC) anticipates issuing a Sole Source, 24 month Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Requirements type contract to The Boeing Company ( Boeing) Cage Code: 81205. 12- month Basic period and one additional 12- month Ordering Period, for Cruise Missile Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) components. The Cruise Missile and Depot ATE test stations are designed to check/test, diagnose, and repair Cruise Missile and Depot ATE LRUs and Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs). The repair will reduce Mission Capability (MICAP), surge Requisitiion and backorders, ensuring proper operation of ATE components. Workmanship shall be in accordance with T.O. 00-25-234, General Shop Practice requirements for repair. Assets shall be repaired in accordance with T.O. 00- 25-234. Repaired assets shall pass DCMA inspection with no failures per repair. 100% of repaired assets shall pass initial test. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed those specified by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Contractor shall complete production and ship serviceable assets IAW the delivery turnaround time (TAT) established in the contract schedule, after receipt of asset, for routine, SURGE, and MICAP requirements. The TAT for SURGE requirements is 15 calendar days, and MICAP requirements 30 calendar days. Any order issued for SURGE or MICAPs requirements will specify the routine delivery TAT with the expectation that the Contractor will attempt to meet the accelerated delivery as specified above. Services for repair to The Boeing Company (CAGE: 81205) under Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), Justification: Services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company (Boeing) is the Integrator and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Cruise Missiles Test Stations. The only qualified Source of Repair (SOR) for these items. The Government does not possess the technical data rights to manufacture these NSN's. This is for a firm fixed price Requirements type contract for the repair Replacement Units/Line Replacement Units for delivered repaired items for the seven Cruise Missiles NSNs: 1. 6625-01-333-4430KV (Electronic Counter, P/N 220-13412-1), RMC/RMSC Code: R3/R. BEQ TOTAL = 8 2. 6625-01-333-4008KV (Digital DA Analyzer, P/N 220-13896-1), RMC/RMSC Code: R3/P. BEQ TOTAL = 6 3. 5895-01-442-1405KV (Fixed Attenuator, P/N 70B184086-1001), RMS/RMSC Code: R4/P. BEQ TOTAL = 3 4. 5998-01-094-1056KV [Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), P/N 220-12121-7], RMC Code: R3/R. BEQ TOTAL = 5 5. 5998-01-094-4057KV (CCA, P/N 220-12173-1), RMC/RMSC Code: R3/R. BEQ TOTAL = 6 6. 5998-01-094-4065KV (CCA, P/N 220-12925-1), RMC/RMSC Code: R3/R. BEQ TOTAL= 6 7. 5998-01-134-4664KV (CCA, P/N 70D180861-2023), RMC/RMSC Code: R3/R. BEQ TOTAL= 6 Delivery Schedule is for 30 days after receipt of funded order or receipt of repairable whichever is later. All unites will be shipped FOB origin within the continental United States. Period of Performance is 180 days ARO (the amont of time it will take for Boeing to deliver one repaired item). Performed at Contractor's facility. Approximate issue date of solicitation is 23 November 2020 with an approximate response date due by 8 December 2020. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if received in a timely manner, must be considered. Only written, faxed, or electronic responses . No telephone requests. No hard copies will be issued. All potential offerors should contact the buyer identified above for additional information and/ or communicate concerns, if any, regarding this acquisition. The intended source accordance with FAR 6.302-1.
