Description
This Sources Sought notification is for information purposes only.� This notification is NOT a formal solicitation, and no award will be made as a direct result of this notification.� Please see the attached Sources Sought for additional information.� The Government is seeking information related to industry�s capability to perform Refurbishment and Reset tasks on Combat vehicles/kits and to return the vehicle/kits to a Fully Mission Capable (FMC) status in accordance with the vehicle/kit technical manuals.� Performance will occur at Anniston Army Depot, Alabama. Tasks include the following: Performing technical inspections. Correcting deficiencies found during the technical inspection by means of troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of broken or missing components. Performing Periodic Maintenance Services in accordance with the vehicle�s Interactive Electronic�Technical Manual (IETM). Removal and installation of selected kits and kit components. Spot painting, cleaning of fuel tanks, replacing seats and seat cushions, replacing tires, replacing exterior straps. Performing function checks after completion of repairs. Performing vehicle technical inspections on vehicle assemblies and components. This includes inspecting the vehicle interior and exterior; mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; brake and suspension systems; ceramic armor panels; spall liners; and full unit power pack (FUPP). Perform vehicle hull inspections via structural and corrosion assessments to determine previous battle damage, structural or ballistic/blast-event integrity issues, and corrosion. Receive, store, transport, deliver, and control the parts needed for refurbishment in accordance with the FAR and ���Army supply regulations. Dispose of all hazardous waste in accordance with the state of Alabama regulations.
