***NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE*** Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, Department of Veterans Affairs � Montgomery VA Medical Center, Montgomery, AL intends to award an emergency firm-fixed price sole source requirement to repair/replace faulty devices in the Fire Protection System to: (See Attachments for Details) The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 561621 with a business size standard of $20.5. The proposed contract is for Fire Protection System devices for which the Government intends to solicit with a single source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. However, the Government will consider all responses that are received by 2:00 pm EST April 8, 2022, for determining sources in future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information submitted in response to this Notice of Intent is strictly voluntary, and the Government will not be responsible to pay for submissions.� This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement. Telephone calls will not be accepted. Responses shall be forwarded to the following email address: Lillie.joseph@va.gov no later than the previously mentioned time and date.
